It’s very important to develop a strategy to maintain long-term relationships with your customers, and email marketing is a great solution. After the first sale you can use back-end selling and upselling to get them to re-purchase by:
- Offering products that complement the customer’s original purchase.
- Distribute redeemable loyalty coupons with futuristic value.
- Create a ‘thank you’ page and offer related products upon checkout.
- Customers who receive rewards tend to return to your store. The more things change the more they remain the same. Though the internet is constantly changing, the basic principles remain the same. Provide quality supply for an existing demand and you’ll always end up with profits.
